About “Visiting Fellows”

African Women on Board’s Visiting Fellows are select experts from different fields and ideologies who will contribute to AWB’s programme direction for a pre-determined duration.

Each visiting fellow and their core focus will be announced to the AWB community so they will have the opportunity to leverage AWB’s existing network and engage our community to enrich their own work, thought leadership and profile.

Visiting fellows will have the opportunity to:

  • Create a new project
  • Manage an existing project
  • Spin out a new project direction from an existing project
  • Contribute to AWB’s publishing drive with articles (both new and republished)
  • and facilitate an event.

AWB will also commit to supporting a knowledge-sharing opportunity for the fellows to document their experience and learnings, their contributions towards AWB’s goals and the impact achieved.

African Women on Board (AWB) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to reshaping the future for African women and girls globally by mainstreaming their voices and fast tracking their trajectory into the leadership roles of the future.
