AWB partnered with award-winning journalist, Isha Sesay and Bellanaija for a five-day Instagram series, “#ENDSARS: The Struggle to Save Nigeria” which explored the core of the youth-led movement and the stories of heroism, patriotism, and defiance linked to this fight for Nigeria’s future.
The crucial conversations with activists, creatives, thought leaders, and victims of police brutality emphasized the multifaceted nature of the #ENDSARS movement and provided the necessary context: this is not about politics or allegiances; this is a movement for a new Nigeria, a new Africa.
As the movement evolves into a demand for good governance and accountable leadership, we are inspired and seriously excited by this awakening and will continue to lend our voice and amplify collective efforts that reinforce our commitment to the continent.
