Our AWB Real Women Series London Roundtable was held yesterday at the Royal Society of Arts House to great reviews by those who attended.

Anchored by Geetha Tharmaratnam and Nkiru Balonwu, this high-level meeting aimed to identify and discuss possible avenues for mobilizing emerging and established black female leaders, and providing a unified platform for the economic empowerment of African women. Key questions raised included: 

• How do we get a better story for Africa?
• What do African women bring to the table?
• How can we take ownership of our own narrative?
